The Big three diesel fuel injection pumps vary between few models and only two manufacturers, Bosch and Stanadyne.
However even though there are only a few models mounting brackets, electronics, and calibration can vary from unit to unit. It is important when acquiring a rebuild diesel injector pump or an aftermarket diesel injector pump that the part meet the OEM specs. Otherwise the diesel engine will perform at sub-peak performance causing poor fuel economy and premature engine ware.
